Moving
Book your move with as much notice as possible, this will ensure you get the time, date and truck size you want. Remember that Fridays and the weekends book up the fastest, especially the last week of the month.
When you book your move, be as accurate as possible about the amount of furniture and effects to be moved, if it is a larger scale removal we are more than happy to come around and check everything out for ourselves.
If you are pre-packing all your own items, try to get them all ready for when we arrive, this saves time and less questions in regards to what’s actually going.
When packing your own boxes, always base the amount of contents per box on whether you can lift it comfortably. You can leave items in chest of drawers and cabinets, as long as they are within reasonable weight, otherwise we can just take draws out individually.
If you have any animals or small children, the best idea for them on moving day is not around the house, as with all the carrying of heavy items an accident can happen just like that.
If you live on a busy stretch of road or have any difficulty parking, please try and secure our truck a spot the night before, this will save time on moving day and make it a quicker process.
If you are not sure about any of the above moving tips, we are always at hand to come around and view your property.
Insurance
Even though we put all the care possible and take all the pre-cautions we can,
sometimes things out of our hands do go wrong.
So in this instance we advise our customers to do their own research on transit insurances, but we can also organise this for you if needed.
Otherwise all items with be transported at owners risk, which is quite a common offering in the transport industry.
